The Red Feather Lakes Community Library is a vital gathering place that provides resources, programs, and technology to meet the diverse education, recreation, and information needs of the community, thereby enriching people's lives.
New: Statewide courier service for Red Feather!
The Library is now on the state-wide courier service. The courier service opens up access to over 6 million items from libraries across Colorado. Ask our staff for information on the new courier service or to place an interlibrary loan request. The courier service fee was paid for by the Friends of the Library.
PIN Number required to renew books online
If you need to renew your books, please call us at 881-2664. You may also renew your books ONLINE by going to the "Catalog" option on this website, then choose "Login" in the upper right hand corner, then type in your library card number and a PIN. Your PIN is the last 4 digits of your phone number. Once you are logged in, choose "My Account," then click "Checked Out" and select the titles you would like to renew using the checkbox option. Then click on the "Renew" button and you will see the dates renew for two more weeks. Be sure to "Log Out" when you are done. If you need assistance to renew online, please call us at 881-2664.
LIBRARY HOURS CHANGE
The Board of Trustees has decided the Red Feather Lakes Community Library will suspend Sunday hours effective May 1, 2007 due to budgetary constraints. The Library will continue to be open Tuesday-Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm.
VOLUNTEERS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME HERE
If you're interested in volunteering, come by the library or give us a call at 881-2664. Meet a great group of people at our Volunteer Meetings the last Friday of every month at 9:00 a.m.

Colorado Talking Book Library News
Colorado Talking Book Library is a free service to Coloradans of all ages who are unable to read standard print material due to visual, physical or learning disabilities whether permanent or temporary. CTBL provides recorded, Braille and large-print books and magazines as well as a small collection of descriptive videos. CTBL is managed through the Colorado State Library. Visit the Colorado Virtual Library for a wealth of resources
The Colorado Virtual Library at http://www.coloradovirtuallibrary.org/ is a cooperative project of the Colorado State Library and the Colorado library community to provide access to the information resources of the libraries of the state to support the education, business, health, social service, and personal growth activities of the residents of Colorado.
Check out Colorado's Historic Newspaper Collection online
The Collaborative Digitization Program, the Colorado State Library (CSL), and the Colorado Historical Society (CHS) are partnering on this proposal to create “Colorado’s Historical Newspaper Collection.” This project will serve as the foundation for a statewide historic newspaper database, beginning with 44 newspapers dating from 1859 to 1880.
